The DACS range comprises the following:
Clarity HeadMaster - D to A converter with control room and headphone monitoring.
Clarity MicAmp2 - 2 channel, ultra low noise microphone amplifier. Winner of 1998 SSAIRA for Outboard Pre-amplifiers voted for by readers of Studio Sound. A useful site called the The Listening Sessions is dedicated to documenting the sonic characteristics of pre-amplifiers. Please visit it for a third party opinion of the MicAmp (they described it as hyper transparent at the bottom of the graph).
Clarity HeadLite2 - 4 channel headphone amplifier; high power, low noise.
FWS FREQue II - analogue effects processor including 2 ring modulators, 2 multi-band oscillators, frequency shift, spectral controls, internal FM, external CV options. Winner of 2002 Editor's Choice for Effects Processors, Analogue (Hardware), Electronic Musician Magazine, USA.
PPA - designed for connection of Soundman OKM binaural microphones to studio mixers and pre-amps with 48V Phantom power, providing optimum voltage for the OKMs.
Clarity Treat Acoustics - create a controlled acoustic space within your room so you hear your mixes with great accuracy, clarity and detail.
Since 2002 Eowave has been developing innovative tools for musicians and artists, mixing the latest analogue technology and sensor-based technology, software and hardware designs, to create new tools.
Flux offer a range of Plugins for use with MAC and PC. The new range of IRCAM plug-ins have been universally praised. Flux:: sound and picture development is a French company involved in pro audio and picture development.
NOTE: To use Flux products, an iLok or a Flux:: dongle is required.
Simple and inexpensive virtual vinyl control of your .wavs, .mp3s and video.
Interdimensional Wrecked Set (I.W.S.) - allows you to use your turntables to control playback of sound and video files, whilst possibly being the most fun hands-on controller for the Max/MSP development environment. PLEASE NOTE - the Ms Pinky software is temporarily only available directly from Ms Pinky
Soundman OKM Binaural microphones were developed to try and capture sound the way we perceive it, by making the microphones small enough to fit in the ear. Recordings made with them are uncannily real, particularly in headphones, and of a quality unexpected at this kind of price point.
Triple P - Pyramid Studio Monitors
Real-world reference monitors designed and built by broadcast production engineers to show what your mix will sound like on consumer systems such as TVs or radios. "Every Studio Needs a pair of really great sounding speakers, and a great pair of REAL sounding speakers".
It is very difficult to describe these Wilson Benesch speakers without resorting to all the usual clichés about 'being there'. Sustained listening has convinced us that this level of detail and accuracy is talked about a lot, but is in reality rare.
