Deceptively simple at first glance, yet amazingly powerful, this spectral editing tool visually displays audio information in three useful ways: time (left to right), frequency (top to bottom) and amplitude (with user-selectable colors; the default setting has dark blue representing the quietest levels and yellow/white the loudest, with orange and red in the middle levels.
After you become familiar and comfortable with reNOVAtor, removing specific noises and impurities is as easy as finding the region to repair, drawing a highlighted box around the area in question and hitting the Process button.

Pro Audio Review - reNOVAtor
ReNOVAtor continues to surprise and delight. Each time I’ve put it up against a problem that until now would have required considerable time to achieve only modest improvement, it has made short work of the situation with perfect or near perfect results. New applications are continually presenting themselves. I cannot see how reNOVAtor is anything less than an essential tool for the audio professional dealing with the kinds of major disturbances routinely found in finishing sound for film, television and records. Disturbances that would mar a beautiful performance or an otherwise perfect recording become ancient history.
