MASI's SurCode for Dolby E Decoder decodes Dolby E files back to discrete PCM in a convenient software plug-in format. SurCode for Dolby E Decoder is the perfect way to integrate Dolby E into existing workflows on different audio workstations, in different studios and in various formats.
While the Pro Tools plug-in allows integrated access to Dolby E files, the AudioTools AWE plug-in has been designed to offload and automate workflow from the DAW. Both plug-ins eliminate the need for any cabling and the synchronization issues that come with using another piece of external gear, resulting in a sample accurate, fully time-aligned set of files for distribution or further editing. Unlike other encoding formats, Dolby E has been designed as the perfect format for multiple encode/decode cycles.
